Pre-Owned Honda Pilot at Honda of Tiffany Springs near Kansas City, MO
Honda's mid-size Pilot crossover is available in front- or four-wheel-drive form, and all trim levels feature cylinder-deactivation technology. The Pilot seats eight and competes with crossovers like the Chevrolet Traverse, Ford Explorer, Toyota Highlander, Mazda CX-9 and GMC Acadia.
Powering the Honda Pilot
All Pilots are powered by a 3.5-liter V-6 that makes 250 horsepower. The engine drives a five-speed automatic transmission and uses Honda's Variable Cylinder Management technology. Heavy-duty radiator, transmission cooler and Class III trailer hitch are standard. Two-wheel-drive Pilots can tow 3,500 lbs, and four-wheel-drive models can pull 4,500 lbs.
The Pilot's Design
The Pilot is very boxy and upright from most angles, and the SUV's front-end features rectangular headlights that border a six-sided grille. The Pilot comes standard with three rows of seats covered in either fabric or leather upholstery; the Touring has power-adjustable, heated front seats with a driver's side memory feature. The second-row bench seat can slide and recline, and Honda says it has added more legroom in both the second and third rows.
The Pilot has frontal airbags, front-seat-mounted side-impact airbags and curtain airbags that cover the side windows along all three rows of seats in a side impact or rollover. The Honda Pilot has standard anti-lock brakes and an electronic stability system. For more information on the Honda Pilot, give us a call today!
